Taking Membership Nominations!
Below contains all current openings in our organization. Please read over our General Membership Guide to ensure you're eligible and note the due dates!
General Society Members form the foundation and heart of the DAY Society. These members embody our core values of leadership, service, scholarship, character, and citizenship. Admission is highly selective, and members are chosen for their commitment to personal growth, community engagement, and the greater mission of DAY.
As a General Member, you’ll have access to leadership development opportunities, service initiatives, and programming that supports academic and professional advancement. You’ll be expected to participate actively in society events, contribute meaningfully to committees, and uphold the standards of integrity and excellence that define our community.
Calling all current college students and young professionals!
Are you passionate about giving back and sharing what you've learned along the way?
Consider adding yourself to the 'Meet Your Match' database, a list of distinguished young adults who can provide mentorship advice in relation to their field. By signing up, you’ll be offering your time and insight to a curious and motivated youth mentee.
In the future you may be asked to:
Participate in three 30-minute interviews over the course of one month (Interview style is flexible: written Q&A, video call, podcast, etc.)
Write a short farewell note with parting advice and encouragement for your pupil
Serve as a source of inspiration and insight on your field or area of study
Mentor Recognition:
All participants who complete the mentorship cycle will receive a formal certificate and may count this experience toward verified volunteer hours.
