Taking Membership Nominations!
The Meet Your Match program is a peer-to-peer mentorship initiative connecting ambitious middle and high school students with current college students and young professionals who are eager to give back. This program is designed to provide younger individuals with real-world insight into academic paths, career choices, and the personal journeys of those just ahead of them.
Our goal is to create meaningful, short-term mentor-mentee relationships that offer inspiration, guidance, and a glimpse into life beyond high school — through honest conversation and shared experiences.
How It Works
Mentor Database Creation
Young professionals and college students add themselves to our secure mentorship database, indicating their field of study or work and areas of interest.
Youth-Led Interviews
Once matched, mentees initiate contact and guide the mentorship experience by conducting three 30-minute interviews over the course of a month. These may take place in any format of your choice:
Written Q&A
Video calls
Podcasts
Creative storytelling (e.g., news article-style interviews)
Final Sendoff
Mentors conclude the experience by sending a short farewell message or letter, offering encouragement and parting advice.
